Help with measuring for powered tube

Before recording your measurements, please follow these simple steps to ensure your powered blind is an exact fit:

1. Use a metal tape measure for accurate measurements.
2. Make sure you have a pen and paper ready to record your measurements in centimeters.
3. Take into account any obstructions such as window handles or tiles, etc.

Important note when measuring for your powered tube
We will fabricate your powered tube so that the roller tube is cut to the exact width submitted to match your fabric width. The overall bracket to bracket width will be your roller tube width + 36mm.

Configure options

Select Motor/Power Option *

Motor/Power Option

Select this option to choose motor with an embedded li-ion rechargeable battery.

With this option, we will fit a Somfy Sonesse 28 RTS Li-ion motor into the roller blind, which has the rechargeable battery pack built into the motor.

A battery charger must be ordered from the 'optional extra' section when building your blind.

Select this option to choose motor with an external rechargeable battery.

With this option, we will fit a Somfy Sonesse motor into the roller blind and supply a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack to power the motor.

Chargers for the external battery can be purchased from the optional extras section.

Select this option to choose a plug-in mains socket powered motor.

With this option, we will fit a Somfy Sonesse 28 RTS motor into the roller blind and supply a Somfy plug in mains adapter as the power supply.

Please note: this solution is mains powered - the battery charger in optional extras is not compatible with this solution.

Select Motor Position *

You may want to select the left side if there is a socket outlet at this side of the blind window offering a convenient charging point or a mains outlet to power the mains adapter.

Select Control Option *

Control Option

You may not want to select a remote control as an option during the order stage as:

  • You are ordering more than one blind and have already selected a remote control.
  • You may already own a Somfy RTS remote control that is compatible with the Somfy powered blind system.
  • You would rather select a control by browsing through the accessories section of the site.

Help choosing a control for your powered tube

 

You may not want to select a remote control as an option during the order stage as:
  • you are ordering more than one blind and have already selected a remote control.
  • you may already own a Somfy RTS remote control that is compatible with the Somfy powered blind system.
  • you would rather select a control by browsing through the accessories section of the site.
  • Please note that without a control you can't operate the electric blind.

Somfy Powered Tube

The Powered Tube Kit consists of a roller blind tube excluding roller blind fabric fitted with a Somfy Sonesse 28 RTS quiet drive motor. We offer a choice of Sonesse 28 RTS motors depending on your preferred power supply option and a choice of Somfy RTS controls.

Our roller blinds are powered by Somfy motors, the world leader in motorised blind products. A range of Somfy remote handsets, wireless wall switches and timers are available to provide your preferred powered blind control option.

 

Powered Tube

Convert a manual roller blind into a electric roller blind with a Powered Roller Tube Kit.
