Help with measuring double roller blinds

Before recording your measurements, please follow these simple steps:

1. Use a metal tape measure for accurate measurements.
2. Make sure you have a pen and paper ready to record your measurements in centimeters (see below to download our measurement templates).
3. Take into account any obstructions such as window handles or tiles, etc.
4. If your recess is partly tiled – measure the top of the recess and again between the tiles, then compare the two measurements. If the difference between them is less than 18mm – use the measurement at the top of the recess. If it is more than 18mm either use the measurement between the tiles, or reduce top of the recess measurement accordingly for a closer fit.

Important note when measuring for your powered double roller blind:
We have to allow for the brackets and motor head at either end of the blind, so please be aware that the fabric width is approximately 3.6cm less than the overall recorded measurement.

Select this option if you want your double roller blind fitted within the window recess.

Select this option if you want your double roller blind fitted outside the window recess. Add extra width on top of the recess width to ensure the fabric will overlap the window recess on both sides.

Note: The fabric width will be 36mm less than the bracket to bracket width - ensure you factor this into your blind width when deciding on your required fabric overlap.

Select this option for left side motor position.

The motor is equipped with an embedded rechargeable battery which requires occasional charging. There is a charging port located on the motor head, which the charger plugs into. Take this into account when deciding the motor position (i.e. if there is a power point at the left or right side of the blind window, then select the relevant side for a convenient charging connection).

2 x Situo RTS controls (bundle)

Two separate Situo RTS controls to operate your double roller blinds - 1 x control for each blind. The three control buttons provide raise, lower and stop control functionality. A favourite position can also be programmed and recalled at the touch of a button ('my' button). The neutral colours of the 'Pure' finish will allow this handset to blend in with any decor.

  • For the control of a Somfy RTS powered blind or other RTS enabled products (e.g. electric curtain track, lighting, etc.).
  • Battery powered (no wiring required).
  • Raise, lower and stop functions (open, close, stop).

Somfy V2 Charger

The V2 LI-ION battery charger connects to the compatible Somfy LI-ION motor or the rechargeable LI-ION battery pack with a simple plug in connector. Simply plug the charger connector into the charging port on the motor head or battery pack. The charger has a 4M long supply cable.

The TaHoma mobile app allows you to add up to 20 devices: roller shutters, interior blinds, garage doors, gates.

The connectivity kit is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to start a scenario with your voice.

Note: Standard Somfy control is still required to carry out blind programming. Scheduled/timed and advanced scenes are not available with the Connectivity kit.

Somfy Powered Double Electric Roller Blind - Nico Cotton & Peace Noir

Layered Blackout & Sheer rollers fitted in a double bracket to allow for maximum light control & comfort.

Nico Cotton - A soft sheer fabric that will add a touch of class to any room. This sheer roller blind fabric allows you to see through whilst reducing the glare of the sunlight.

Peace Noir- A plain black blackout roller blind to add an uncomplicated and modern look to your window and block the light.

The blind is supplied as standard with a Somfy motor and a choice of control options.

About this blind fabric

Colours reproduced on screen may vary from the actual colours due to the limitations of the printing process. Great care has been taken to ensure that the fabric swatches and the information supplied are correct, however customers are advised to check the suitability of materials before use.

Range Details

The double roller blind comprises of two roller blinds on the same bracket, one blackout and the other a semi-transparent sheer. The sheer fabric located at the rear of the system offers light diffusion and a degree of privacy during the day with the front located blackout fabric offering privacy and light block when required.

The fabric of the blackout blind is front rolled and the sheer blind is rear rolled.

Both blinds are powered by a Somfy Rollup 24 RTS Li-ion motor with integral rechargeable battery pack, which are compatible with the Tahoma Switch control hub allowing control via smart phone app and voice control devices.

The fabric width is 36mm narrower than the overall bracket to bracket width to allow for the motor and blind components – the width size you order will be made as the bracket to bracket width (not fabric width).

We recommend selecting a Somfy multi-channel control for independent and group control of both blinds.

  • Double powered roller blinds fabricated to your specification complete with a Somfy Rollup 24 RTS Li-ion motor fitted within each roller assembly.
  • The Somfy motor incorporates an integral rechargeable li-ion battery – a full charge will provide up to 6 months use on 100cm high blind, 3-4 months on a 200cm high blind.
  • Standard (non-cassette) roller system supplied with double blind brackets and fixings.
  • The fabric panel is finished with a fabric wrapped hem bar – the fabric covers the front side of the bar with the back plain white.
  • The control selected (if applicable) during the order process.
  • Battery chargers ARE NOT supplied as standard and must be purchased separately (a charger can be added in the ‘optional extra’ step when configuring your blind).
