Measuring to fit inside your window recess

Roller Blinds - Measuring Inside Recess

Inside recess measurements

  • Fits inside your window recess for a neater appearance
  • Make sure your recess is deep enough to accommodate your blind

Take three measurements across the width and height, as shown on our measurement guidelines, and use the shortest measurement you have taken when ordering your blinds.

Roller blind Open & Closed cassette systems, and Vision blinds

We will deduct 10mm from your width measurement when ordering a cassette system to be fitted inside the window recess. This is to ensure the cassette profile fits comfortably within the window recess area (there will be a 5mm gap at either side of the cassette profile when fitted).
